Hollywood Spectra is a versatile laser platform designed to gently deliver specialized ‘billionth of a second’ laser energy to reduce visible skin pigmentation. It not only brightens uneven skin tone, but it also helps to reduce the appearance of textural irregularities and fine lines.

As we all know, too much sun exposure to UV light can lead to sunspots, freckles, uneven skin tone and textural irregularities. Your skin type, heredity, lifestyle and hormones can also contribute to your skin developing unwanted pigment. The unique part about Hollywood Spectra laser energy is the ability to adjust to your skin type and condition so that it can be precisely targeted to address your aesthetic concerns. It uses advanced technology that safely addresses your concern with minimal to no downtime. Hollywood Spectra has become a popular demand in our practice for a more youthful appearance.

How many treatments are needed?
Treating unwanted pigment and stimulating collagen within your skin is a gradual process that requires multiple sessions to produce effective results. The number of sessions required depends on the type of severity of your aesthetic concern. The Hollywood Laser Peel may only require 3-6 treatments and melasma management may require 6 or more. Your provider at Perfect Touch Medspa will recommend a treatment course expectation that is right for you.

Is there any downtime?
With virtually little to no downtime, you may immediately return to your daily activities. Some treatments may create a minor erythema that could last 1-3 hours

Is the treatment painful?
Most patients report very little discomfort. They describe the treatment sensation as a warm prickly feeling with a rapid snapping sound while the laser delivers energy to the skin. Typically, no anesthesia or topical is needed, however, it can be applied upon request.

What can I do to maximize my results?
Wearing SPF 30+ or higher and a hat can help protect your revitalized skin and prevent sun damage. Taking these steps can enhance and preserve your results. This is especially important after treating melasma and other unwanted pigment in your skin.
